Description
Shrub to 3m. Bark on branches has numerous lenticels (small corky spots). Leaves to 6cm long, edges toothed and often wavy. Short leaf stalk. Flowers yellow, petals each 1cm long. After flowering sepals turn red as fruit develops. Fruit black, glossy, single-seeded. A difficult weed to control as it readily re-shoots.
