Habitat comment
This wren appears to have benfited from human disturbance in south east Queensland. It occurs mainly in disturbed habitats, rarely in pristine forest. It may ben increasing in numbers. It can live close to humans in parkland.
Management
Not an indicator of habitat quality. Often confused with the variegated wren and some NatureSearch records of this species may be in error.
