Ground dwelling inhabitant of rainforest and denser eucalypt forest. Easily confused with Russet-tailed Thrush. Calls different. Prefers altitudes from 550 - 1040m where ranges overlap in SE QLD. Russet-tailed found at altitudes between 250 - 775m. Known
