Other locality
Common and widespread in a range of habitats including farmland. One of the most widespread marsupials on the Gold Coast.
General ecology
Eucalypt forest, farmland, sometimes entering rainforest. This bandicoot is tolerant of human disturbance and will colonise degraded habitats such as gullies in parks and golf courses.
Specific ecology
Some thick groundcover in which to nest.
Threats
Cats, dogs, cars. Despite the threats, bandicoots sometimes survive in urban areas due to their adaptability and speedy reproduction.
